The Alzheimers Association is an international association based in Chicago, USA. It aims not only to provide relief, care, and tips for Alzheimer patients and caretakers but also to help bring awareness to this neurodegenerative illness, and help raise money to study it better and provide better care for those that suffer from it.
This amazing association can help Alzheimer patients find a network of friends that suffer from the same illness and experience the same struggles as well, which can do a great deal for helping them feel supported, validated, and less lonely or isolated.
If you want to get involved, simply go to the tab “Get Involved” on their website so you can find out how to donate to their cause or how to become a volunteer for their many different projects (fundraisers, clinical trials, etc). You can also get help, find adequate caretakers for you or your loved ones or find clinics that specialize in Alzheimer’s in the tab “Find resources”.
