It is human nature to worry about the outcomes of our lives: after all, with some darkness in the world it tends to seem like everything that can go wrong will go wrong lately. However, while the negatives stick to our mind easier there are also plenty of positive miracles that sounded impossible at first…until they happened.
There are also plenty of studies that prove the effects of positive thinking and a “You Can Do It” mindset: increased lifespan, decreased stress, anxiety, and depression, more successes will come into your life, better emotional and physical health (long term stress can absolutely ravage the body.)
Of course, it is not as simple as just telling yourself “you can do it” in the mirror every morning: practicing meditation or mindfulness, positive visualizations, cognitive behavioral therapy, and using other tools to keep yourself positive, happy, and hopeful will slowly but surely lead you towards a more positive mindset!
